| Hiba Saab in UTOPIA - 2009 |
Hiba Saab was born on January 24, 1982 in Choueifat, Lebanon. She began her artistic career at the early age of five, taking piano and voice lessons and participating in local piano recitals and vocal competitions.
Hiba moved to California and began exploring her many skills. She is now a professional Opera singer and actress. Hiba also teaches voice lessons, acting and Yoga.
Hiba moved to Beirut a few years ago, and performed in three of Nagy Souraty’s collective creations; Utopia, In the Heart of the Heart of Another Body, and Apospasmata Aghonistika at the Lebanese American University and Al Madina Theatre.
Hiba is now writing and performing original music, and studying oriental singing and classical voice, as well as also continuing her training in dance and acting, and musical theater. Hiba teaches yoga classes for free in Hamra as a token of community outreach and gratitude for the many blessings in her life.
