"Online" est une comédie romantique trilingue en un acte de Josyane Boulos qui met en scène plusieurs personnages ; Nanou, Thomas, Alain, Rami et Lamia qui tchattent avec les différents moyens que met à notre disposition la technologie moderne : MSN, Facebook, Skype… Nanou (mere divorcee, la quarantaine) sort avec Rami, est amoureuse d’Alain, écoute Thomas et se confie à Lamia. Mais le virtuel est-il Réalité ou Mensonge ?
"Online" is a trilingual romantic comedy in one act by Josyane Boulos which portrays several characters, Nanou (a 40 years ol divorced mom), Thomas, Alain, Rami and Lamia chatting with the different ways available to us by modern technology: MSN, Facebook, Skype. Nanou is dating Rami, is in love with Alain, listens to Thomas and confides in Lamia. But is the Virtual world Reality or Lies?
L'originalité du chatting à la libanaise se révèle dans cette pièce avec ses différentes spécificités: mixture franco-arabo-anglaise retranscrite sur l'écran géant en toile de fond sur la scène. N'oublions pas aussi toute la diversité de notre patrimoine actuel: vie sociale où se mélangent influences occidentale et orientale, coupures de courant et tous ces petits détails qui font bon de vivre au pays du Cèdre. La pièce met en scène un monde où tout est devenu virtuel, jusqu'à l'amour et interactif, avec la participation du public à la fin de l'acte.
The originality of chatting the Lebanese way is revealed in this play with its different characteristics: mixture of French-Arab-English see on the big screen set as a backdrop on the stage, the diversity of our heritage today: social life that blends Eastern and Western infuences, power cuts and all those little details that make Life in the Cedar country fun!. The play depicts a world where everything has become virtual ever love and is interactive, with public participation at the end of the act.
