“The Lover” is fascinating also because of the place of the action: Indochina, Saigon in 1930ties – with its colours, smells, atmosphere, exotic blow of the Eastern culture and traditions… I survived something similar, when I spent a year in Japan (I studied Japanese theatre and dance there) – I sensed the differences between Eastern and Western cultures, human mentality…

“THE LOVER” gained the international awards and attention in different festivals abroad: International Festival of Mono Performances in Kiev (first place), International Festival “Monokl” in Russia (first place), Festival “Thespis” in Germany (Grand Prix). The performance took part in other festivals, such as “Transit” (Denmark), “Magdalena Pacifica” (Colombia), “I Fest”(USA). 

"ANTIGONY" based on Sophocles' tragedy

Inspired by the classical tragedy of Sophocles, "ANTIGONE" explores the way

to unite the ancient and the contemporary language by contrasting the sequence of huge

video images of chorus with the human figures in the front.
