Through bodies that find and hang on to each other, suspended in space - that of exploration - comes the time of heavy legacies, old wounds, the mad mental race… frolics become dialectics, internal debates. Within the solitary chaos of misunderstanding, each one enters in his personal discussion: Can we escape? From the other, from projecting? From feeling? From this gut craziness? Whether we dance with the other or his image, an imaginary other, dance remains vigor.
«Un•re(a)lating» tells the story of adventures and miscomprehension between individuals but also within the forces of our environment.

Le temps des lourds héritages, des plaies anciennes, de la course folle du mental surgit à travers des corps qui se trouvent, qui s’emboitent, qui s’accrochent l’un à l’autre suspendus dans l’espace - celui de l’exploration... des ébats qui deviennent débats, intérieurs. Le chaos solitaire du malentendu, chacun dans sa ronde: Y échappe-t-on? A l’autre, à la projection? Au sentiment? A cette folie qui vient du ventre? Que l’on danse avec l’autre ou avec son image, fantasmée, la danse reste vigueur. 

«Un•re(a)lating» raconte l’aventure et le malentendu entre individus mais aussi au sein de notre environnement.

عُلِّقت في الفضاء أجسادٍ تلاقت و تلاحمت 
و تماسكت ببعضها البعض في مساحة الإستكشاف. 
ثم أتى زنا الميراث يفتح الجروح القديمة في سباقٍ نحو الجنون… ألعاب تصبح أجدال داخلية. 
ضمن فوضى الإنفراد وسوء التفاهم، كلّ مرء له جولته: هل يمكننا الهروب من الآخر؟ من التوقعات؟ من الإحساس؟ من الجنون؟ أن نرقص مع الآخر أو مع صورته الخياليّة، تبقى الرقصة حيوية. 
هذا العرض يروي قصة المغامرة والإلتباس 
بين الأفراد وأيضاً داخل محيطنا.

Founded in 2003 by Nada Kano, the Beirut Dance Company is a contemporary dance company based on classical ballet training unique in Lebanon. 

The Beirut Dance Company has performed several shows in Lebanon and abroad. In September 2009 the company was one of the five finalists of the dance competition of the Francophone Games held in Beirut, an achievement for Lebanon as the country was for the first time represented in a dance competition.
